Seven Essential Leadership Tools

If you’re a visual person, you’ll love this. My seven most essential leadership tools – but can you name all seven?

Each of the images in the set above represents one of my most essential leadership tools. But I haven’t named them. The challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to correctly identify each of the seven leadership tools using only the image and your own brilliant perception.

As usual, please add a comment below if they’re still open, or tweet me @nickrobcoach – how many of the seven essential leadership tools could you name; what would you add or change?

    Not sure I’ve got them all……
    1 – Take time to think
    2 – Have regular breaks and stay hydrated
    3 – Listen and record conversations
    4 – Have regular one to ones
    5 – Go at the pace of the slowest person
    6 – Celebrate success
    7 – Be open and honest

      Thanks Rob,
      I could go with all 7 of yours!
      Your ones which are furthest from my original thoughts are:
      3 – I’d meant this to be something around planning or organising. Maybe not the best image for that, on reflection;
      7 – Which I’d meant to be something like “don’t be afraid to start with an empty mind or a blank sheet”.
      Obviously, no right or wrong answers really, other than never thinking about what does make your own leadership work, which is definitely a bad thing 🙂
